LEARN

DISABILITY JUSTICE

Understanding the history and principles of Disability Justice is foundational to engaging in anti-ableist, cross-movement work that moves us in the direction of equity, justice, and belonging for all. We strongly encourage an immersion with the works of our ancestors, living and passed, so that it may live within you as you move through this world.

OUR YOUTUBE

Our Youtube channel is the archived recordings of our Autistic Perspective Series and Annual Conference sessions. It is critical that we preserve the stories, perspectives, and wisdom of Chronically-ill, Autistic, Neuro-eclectic, and Disabled people as work to dispel ableism and shift narratives. All presenters and panelists were compensated and have given their permission for public sharing.

CANDOR operates on the traditional, ancestral lands of the Eno, Occaneechi, Tuscarora, Shakori, Sissipahaw, and Saponi Peoples.  We pay respect to their elders, both past and present, who have been stewards of this land for generations. We engage in our work here with humility and reverence for the original peoples of this land and hold awareness of the legacy of violence, displacement, forced migration, and settlement.
